CHRISTCHURCH, March 28. The fact that the Canterbury Football Association is in financial difficulties was revealed at the mooting of •the (Management committee to-night, Th e committee diccussed whether the Association should go into - voluntary liquidation” and accept- a .proposal of the New Zealand coiincil that Association football in Canterbury .should bo controlled by a sub-committee of the New Zealand council; or else should endeavour to make satisfactory arrangements with the creditors, - A special meeting of the .. creditors i s to be called for Monday, April 3. A special general meeting of. the Association will he hold a day or two later to discuss whether the Association shall continue... in .control- of football after having reached a satisfactory settlement with,: the creditors or -should go into liquidation.
