EASTERN POLICY

CHARGE MADE IN CONGRESS.

WASHINGTON, March 26

Representative I’inkham charged that the Roosevelt Administration, apparently, * wishes for war in Asia with Japan. He referred to the joint resolution now pending in Congress for vesting in the President the power to prohibit the exportation of. arms and war munitions to countries that are engaged in a dispute or conflict. Air Tinkham charged that this O resolution was aimed at Japan, and that it indicated that the present Administration has adopted the whole foreign policy of the last Administration, which had been completely dominated by the British Foreign Office.
