The following awards have been made for the Ahuwhenua Trophy, presented be the Governor-General, for competition by qualified Maori farmers occupying and under a native development scheme administered under the Native Land Act:
William Swinton, of Raukokoro, Ist, Jack Black, of Rautoki, secondi Ta revvu KopaCj Ruatdki, third. James Swinton, Ruukokoi'n, .highly commended.
The following received special mention:—P. Mihaere, of Horo Horo; Te Katene, cf Tikitere • and Chas. Oneroa, Horo Horo. Mr W. Dempster, dairy instructor and grader for the Department of Agriculture at Hamilton judged the entries.
