OBITUARY
The death occurred on Friday at the City Hotel, Westport, of Henry Francis Pitt, aged 45 years. Deceased arrived in Westport on Thursday from Inangahua Junction, intending to consult a doctor about his health, hut during the night he expired, and was found dead in bed in the morning. At an inquest a verdict in accordance with medical testimony, which was to the effect that death was caused as a result of thrombosis of the coronal artery, was returned.
