(Received this day at 9.25 a.m.) CALCUTTA, March 24,

Wild, animals and snakes were responsible for the deaths of thirteen hundred people in the central provinces alone during the past twelve months. Of this total 1200 djed from snake bite, 43 were killed by tigers, 17 by leopards, and 36 by wild boars.
