The observance of Anzac Day was discussed .by. the .Wellington Education Board, when it was moved that the Secretary be empowered to send out the usuiml circular detailing the proper observance. Mr 0. Clark was of the opinion that tlie time had come when the whole question of observance slum Id ho reconsidered, whether the service should be .held on the actual day or the day prior. He mentioned that in one -suburban, school, the hcadntestcr, cue teircher and about half a dozen children wore present last year; when a returned soldier arrived to address the scholars.
