GOLD PROSPECTING SCHEME

The Westland County Council invites applications in this issue from unemployed to work under the gold prospecting scheme outlined by Mr Jessep, Deputy Chairman of the Unemployed Board, at the meeting held last, evening. Particulars- appear in another column.

Application® arc invited also from persons willing to act as supervisers. Particulars of the scheme and condition® of application may be seen at the County Office, Town Halls, Kumara, Ross and Hokitika, and at the principal County post offices. Applications close on Monday next at noon, and will be considered by the County Council the following day.
