The French underwriters have declared to accept the abandonment ol the liner l’Atlantique until the enquiries into the. case of the fire are concluded. The I’AtlantiqUe Shipping Company states this means the underwriters are considering the declining of liability altogether. The Company will start procedings unless the claim is settled in a month.
