Th e West Coast Association’s Coquet Tournament was continued yesterday in fine weather. The lawns were in fine order after th e recent rains, and the standard of play was excellent. The tournament will be concluded to-day: Results of yesterday’s play alto as follows Championship singles, first life: Mrs Mercer (Grey) beat Mrs Torment (Gray) 26—12 ; Mrs Gilbert (Westport) beat Mrs Gillespie .(.Westport) 26—12. First round (second life) : Mrs Warneg won by default from Mrs A. Smith. Championship singles, second life: Mrs Gillespie (Westport) beat Miss Hambleton 26—23; Mi’s Gilbert (Westport) beat Mrs Warneg 26—3 ; Mrs Mercer beat Mi's McKay 26—24; s em '" final (first life) ; Mrs Gilbert (Westport beat Mrs W. (Westport) 26—10.
