The Prime Minister stated to-day that he has received a cablegram from the Australian Government inviting the New Zealand Government to send a Minister to Australia to discuss the trade relation § between the two countries. Mr Forbes added, that up to the present, the Government had not had an opportunity to consider the invitation.
