NEW PLYMOUTH, February 24. Struck by a falling stack of timber at the Omoto mill this morning, John Faulkner, aged 17, was admitted to the hospital, suffering from serious internal injuries.

KNOCKED tBY MOTOR-CAR. EKETAHUNA, February 24. CJ. Vosseler. aged over 80, was struck laigt night by a motorist and received a- fractured leg. cut* on the face and shock. 'The accident occurred during a heavy rain storm. \vhen visibility was had. He was walking on the road. He was taken to Master ton hospital in an ambulance. His condition is fairly satisfactory.
