Austria’s reply to the Franco-Brit-ish note regarding the machine guns confirms Sir J. Simon’s statement in the House of Commons. Austria intimates she will do what is necessary to secure a speedy return after the fulfilment of the contract (to recondition them). Austria undertakes to conform to all of the Franco-British requests.
