11l ideal weather the. West Coast Q equet Association’s alnnual championship tourney was continued yesterday on die Makura Club’s lawns. There was good attendances trhoughout tlie lav, and some splendid play was witnessed. So far the arrangements for the tourney have been carried oii.it without a hitch, and reflect credit on the Executive Committee and the Secretaries, Afesdames A. Smith and L. Mercer. Each day Hi dainty afternoon tea is .served by the committee cf the Makura. Club. A putting competition on Monday was won by Mrs Hannan. The “A” and “C” ■Button Competition was finalised yesterday, and resulted in wins for Mrs Gilbert (Westport) and Mrs Robertson (Greymouth) respectively. The results of yesterday’s play wore as follows:

Silver Button, “B” Grade: Airs Orshoiirn (Reefton) heat Airs Gille-pie (AVentnort) 26—18, 26—18. The final in this competition will ho played today between Miss Hambleton (Greymouth) and Airs Osbourn (Reefton). Silver Button, “C” Grade: Final— Mrs J.
