WANGANUI, February 21

After 35 minutes’ retirement the juTy at the Supreme Court found Alexan ter Myles guilty on r, charge that at j?atea, on October 20, 1932, with inteiit to maim, disfigure, or do grievous b-idily harm, he actually did bodilv ha.utt to James William Carradus. Mvles vs single, 26 years of age. Sentence deferred by Mr Justice Ostler until the end of the criminal sessions.

Myles was found not guilty on an alternative charge of attempted murder and of discharging a loaded slio - guu at Cairradus with intent to do actual bodilty harm, and of assault to cause bodily harm.
