DUNEDIN, February 20
James McGuire, aged..6o, employed at a Roslyu store, died in hospital yesterday from head injuries sustained in a fall from a ladder on. Saturday.
FATAL FALL FROM TRAIN.
STRATFORD, February 20.
lapsing his footing on a. slowly moving train at Iviore on Saturday night, a 'farm hand, Timothy Toomey, aged 47, 'a single man, was killed. His mother lives near Wellington. No one saw the accident hut it, is, presumed that deceased stepped off tlic train facing the wrong way and fell inwards across the rails.
