CHRISTCHURCH, February 20
A man’s clothing found on the beach at-Brighton last week, has been definitely identified as belonging to Hector George 'i'hi.rkell, manager of Richmond Butter Co., Dixon St:., Wellington,’ who eam.e to Christchurch on business .on Tuesday. No trace has ibeoiL found jO'f ThirkiT/, who fa a married man. From the position of 'tho clothes and the fact that there was with them a new towel, it is thought the missing man must have gone swimming and got into difficulties. He is ~said to lie a strong swimmer.
