An inquest was held at Hikurangi to-day concerning the victims of the triple tragedy at the coalmine. The verdict was. that: Albert Ackers met his death .through unwittingly coming in contact, with . black . damp; that James Ackers died similarly when attempting to .rescue Albert; and that Jack Ackers. fUed in .the same manner wlieii trying to save the otJiei'S.
