DepartirGnt was making repairs, to the overhead electric gear on the Lyttelton line running through Woo I ston, when he recei v ?;d a shock of 1500 volts from the wires. He fell to the ground, and suffered head .injuries. ‘Be wa s Heated by Dr Taylor, who arrived on the scone within a Saw minutes and applied artificial respiratory measures which rallied the injured man.
