FINE FOR ASSAULT
HECTOR GRAY IS DEFENDANT.
AUCKLAND, Feb. 15
Hector Gray, the ex-jockey, appeared in the Papaluira Court this morning and was fined £5 for assaulting Henry Feilding Gilmer, on the Takainini railway station on Jan. 23rd. The incident arose out of statements made by Giimer at the hearing of Hector Gray’s appeal which led to his disqualification being increased from three years’ to life.
