Thirteen persons, including Bishop Antonin, of Vancouver, 8.C., Ranking Bishop in the Russian Orthodox Church in Alaska, have lest • their lives, belated reports here stare, in a. terrific midhvinter storm in which a. sixty foot vessel sank near Umnak Island in the' Aleutians- on January 24. Three natives -I tire saved. The others were lost including the master, Captain Stankus, hi,s' wife and infant child, Captain Andrew Nek on and a R.ucsian Priest, Alike Tnfakos*. The small wooden vessel, only forty-seven tons’ capacity was making a trip between trading points.
