George Jones, the trainer of the New Zealand colt. Staghorn, caused a 'sensation' ; in racing rircJcn ' to-day by exprciSK'ing the belief that Staghorn was doped prior to his race in the Electric Handicap at Williamsfown on Saturday. Usually a docile horse, •Staghorn behaved badly at the posl, and ran much, below his form. He became extremely excited after the race, and was almost terror stricken. Inquiries have been set afoot.
