SUMMER FLOWERS

SHOW BEING HELD BY ST. MARY’S

SOLDIERS’ HALL, TO-MORROW.

Despite the lateness of -the season there is every indication that the summer flower show being held by St/ Alary s Church to-moirow ..will be equal to any similar organisation that lias yet been held here. A change in loc.de has been made, the show now taking place in the Soldiers’ Hall insteau or in St; Mary’s club room. The manner in which the entries have come to hand has been mort hear toning and if all exhibits are forthcoming a good ai.d choice display is predicted. All sections of exhibits .are weLl catered for, the large number •of classes in each providing an attivc.ive variety, and the response To each has oeen well answered.

It i.s understood that the exhibition of flowers will be up to a high standard despite the u gore pit ious weather of the past few days. Interest is being maintained in the decorated table class which should prSvo one of the chief attractions.

The organisation is well in hand, and exhibitors are given a final •.reminder that their exhibits must be in bv 11 a.m. to-morrow.

Mr H. Kortegast’s lorry will bo at the disposal of exhibitors to-nierrow morning until noon to convey the ex* hibjts to the hall. ~ t
