WEST COAST BEGUM ENT. Next Monday, the ist Battalion of the Nelson, lua-flov-ougu. amt Wesi Coast Regiment, will assemble at I’apawera to undergo their annual erap-ng in camp under tl.ie,. command of Lieut.Colonel W. O. Harley. It Is mow three years since an annual camp was field, although a bivouac was held last year. The Jatte r differed from a camp .in that no pay was granted and the work carried 'out- was moire in the nature of a course of •instruction rather than tin, usual training. - The <«mp ‘will b 0! inspected by the General Officer Commanding, MajorGeneral W. L. H, §inclair-B ui’gtf-ss, and the Officer Commanding the Southern Command, Lieut.-Colonel S. C. P. Mich, oils, . or the Knursday. The entertainment of the troops -will be left largely in the hands of Rev. H. J. W. Knights, of Hokitika, who will act at Chaplain to the Battalion.
