Attaching importance to Admiral Pratt’s announcement that the American Atlantic- fleet is remaning in the Pacific until July, 1934, the Japanese naval authorities discredit the reasons .assigned, and consider that it is a veiled threat, coming at- the present time of Japan’s critical situation with the League.
