On the bowling green last evening the final oi the singles championship was played between I). 'Stevenson and i'. Cooper, victory resting with the former by 20 to 18. In the early stages of the game Corner had a. distinct- advantage and with half the game gone had a lead of 16 to 6. From then on Stevenson scored steadi'y and woii tlie game, I;is opponent o.ly adding two si. gler-. The game was an excellent one both drawing, well but on the short 'heads the winner 'showed to gre.A advantage. Tho present win makes eleven times- that Air vSterern on has held the championship and Duncan Cup, tho handsome silver trophy that .vas p ©seated for competition by the late Air \Ym. Duncan in 1909.
