CAR SOMERSAULTS
NARROW ESCAPE FOR FOUR MEN. AUCKLAND, January 25. Four men in a' niotor-car which turned a complete 'somersault while running down Parnell Rise' last evening, had a remarkable escape from serious injury. Although "the car was badly wrecked, all four men were able to walk away after the accident, the only apparent injuries being abrasions which one cf the passengers received to the hands from broken glass. The roof of the car was smashed in. The front seat was hurled into tlie rear compartment, and the floorboards were thrown up on to the seats. One wheel of the 'steel disa type, was slightly buckled.,.,..
> It is believed that the car capsized when the driver swerved to avoid a mothr-cyclist who was coming up the hill.
