STORMS IN NEW SOUTH WALES
DAMAGE AGAIN EXPERIENCED

SYDNEY, January 26. Storm,3 continue to cause heavy damage in parts of the country. Sixteen inches of rain fell at Eden, on tie ‘south coast, in as many hours, during a violent storm. The business premises and homes were flooded for miles. The waters rushed fast and deep over the roads. S e ve r al bridges were swept away on the Princes,3 highway, the- main road to Victoria, and traffic was cut off.

There wa s an extraordinary storm at Dorrigo, accompanied by torrential rain, deafening thunder and nerveracking lightning. Three people were taken to the hqspital, paralysed, after being struck by lightning.

The hail penetrated the hides of the cattle, leaving them bleeding. Houses and sheds weiy, unroofed.
