DELEGATES PASS RESOLUTION.

PALMERSTON X January 26

At a meeting of dairy factory interests. thirty delegates, representing the Co-operative Dairy Factory, passed a resolution for the protection of tliif industry export. Veils will be prohibited for the coming .season and export in future years will be subject to special license, and only for excess above requirements; that the scientific and industrial research department set up a standards department whereby dairy factory requisites in tbe future shall be procured on specification conforming with tbe minimum stands laid down by tbe, department.

Tbe meeting decided that wherever possible British goods be purchased, and the principle of co-operative Inlying be observed by companies.
