THREE REDS KILLED
IN CLASH WITH COLOGNE POLICE (Ur ; ted Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, January 24. The “Times” Cologne correspondent says that three Communists were killed when the police scattered a procession of eight hundred Communists, marching through Cologne, shouting invectives against the Government. They started stoning the police who were compelled to fire in self-deffence. The Communists Inter reassembled in the centre of Cologne where, after setting fire to a tram, they launched another stone attack, and the police were again compelled to fire, seriously wounding four,,,Several, police.-were, also injured. All political demonstrations are prohibited until further notice.
