L*.lrd Lewisham, presided at the Marylebono committee meeting which is expected likely to‘send a cone liatory reply to Australia. It is understood that- the committee is anxious to smooth out the difficulties without interfering with J arcline’s authority. The question of cancelling the remaining tests is unlikely to arise. The meeting was unfinished at 0.10 o clock this morning.
