A y. the result of an ,argument in a. hotel right-of-way on ’Xmas Eve, four Maoris, John Kingi, Aleni Katipa, Joe. Hoera. Tupai-a, and Tommy Abulii i,,. were charged before Air B. H. Harpet, S.AL., to-day, with assaulting julm BaJryinple, so as to cause him actual bodily harm.
Dalrymplo is a five labour butcher at the Kaiti Works, but be was admitted, to-the hospital with a broken jaw. After a lengthy hearing, the accused- .pleaded not guilty, and were committed to 'tife-Supreme!; Court for trial.
