WEDDING BELLS
ROSS—BELL. An interesting wedding took place this morning at All Saints’ Church when Eliza Muriel, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs 11. Bell of Kumara, until recently a popular teacher of the Hokitika State School, was united to Lawrence Schley (Paddy), youngest sou ot Mr and Mrs Robert Ross of Gibson Quay, the Rev. H. J. W. Knights officiating. The bride who entered the church on the arm of her father wore a Lido blue morocain costume, relieved with ivory gorgette blouse, slices and hat to tone and pink bouquet with streamers. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Isabel Bell as bridesmaid, who wore a Lido georgette dress, softly frilled and shoes and hat to tone. She also carried a pink bouquet with streamers to match her frock. Mr Jack Ross attended his brother as best man.. After the ceremony the happy couple ancl guests adjourned to the residence of Mrs S. Evans, aunt of the bride, where the wedding breakfast was held ana the usual toasts honoured. Later the happv couple left by motor car for Arthur Pass, on route for Dunedin where the honeymoon will be spent. Mr and Mrs Ros s will have the good wishes of a large circle of friends for I heir future happiness. The bride travelled in a blue crepe de chine relieved with cherrie and navy blue hat and diagonal cloth navy coat.
