FALL FROM LORRY

LITTLE GIRL INJURED, AUCKLAND 1 , Jaiauary 14. Injuries to the bend received when she fell from a moving motor-lorry on the West Tamaki Road late on Tuesday afternoon resulted in Lorna Daverne, aged seven, being admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday morning. The child, who is the daugther of Mr S. Daverne, labourer, of Glen Innes Road, West Tamaki, had been given a ride on the lorry. In falling sh© struck her head heavily. She was taken home and attended by Dr. O. Horton, of St. Heliens Bay, who ordered her removal to hospital yesterday morning. Her condition last evening was serious.
