In a professional boxing contest at Hastings this evening, Len Knuckey, 8.6, of Hastings, knocked °ut Kid Smith 8.2, of Hastings, in the fourth round of a scheduled ten round contest.' The bout was lively and full of action while it lasted. Both adopted long range tactics.

{Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 17. At the Stadium to-night in 12 rounds, Fred Hanneberry, 11.3, drew with Ron Richards, 11.65. The former excelled in in-fightirig, and th e later used his right most effectively. The pair mixed it all through, and the crowd was on tip toe excitement.
