In the tennis test Vinos to-day had a victory over Crawford, iwhjch clinched the rubbed for America. Vin.? s won 6—l, 6—2. His amazing speed disconcerted Crawford, who was not in his best form, and was overwhelmed all through. _ Quist beat Van Ryn 6—4, 6—3. There was little to choose between them, the Australians mulling their best opportunities.
