NAPIER FATALITY TEN MEN NOT ACCOUNTED FOR* (Per Press Association — Copyright. J| NAPIER, December 29. One watersider was drowned, ten are unaccounted for at aii early hour this morning, and the twelfth is lying in tlie hospital sutferßig from shock as the result of, a collision between two vessels at the entrance of the inner harbour at Napier at 11.30 o’clock last evening. The body of J. H. Metcalfe has been recognised, while those still missing are W. Wilmot, H. A. Boyd, E'. Cooper, A. Aplin, senr., J. Woods,- W. Andrews, Tom Kit, N. Lowe. Tjie man -in the hospital, is J. Harrison, who is reported to have recovered considerably since admitted.

The launch Doris was returning from the roadstead whore an overseas vessel had been worked, and had a party of 31 watersiderk on board. - At the entrance to the inner harbour the launch collided with' Richardson’s vessel, Tu Atu and sank., •
