MEAT INDUSTRY CONTROL. (Australian tress Association ) SYDNEY Deoember 26. The Metropolitan Meat three members has been abolished by a new act recently passed by Parliament having been proclaimed. The meat industry at the Homebush abattoirs will be controlled by a committee, of management until the manager and advisory council has been appointed by the government.
N.S.W. TRANSPORT COMMISSION. SYDNEY, December 27. The new transport commission has been constituted as follows:'—Messrs Hartigan, (Chief Commissioner of Railways), F. C. Ganside (Assistant Railway Commissioner) S. A. Maddocks (Commissioner for Road Transport and Tramways), H. H. Newell (Commissioner for Main Roads).
