ONE THIRD OF THE REVENUE. (Australian Press Association.) CANBERRA, December 27. The Federal Cabinet meets next week to consider the - war debt payments. The Commonwealth expenditure arising out of the war at present approximates four hundred thousand pounds per week. This is nearly one third of the Commonwealth revenue.

Australia’s war expenditure for 1931-32 was £21,405,557, this comprising £8,852,913 on pensions and repatriation and £12,552,644 for the interest and sinking fund This brings the ■Commonwealth’s w’ur bill to 770 millions sterling, of which 467 millions has been spent since the Armistice.
