KNIFE IN HEART
! ATROCITY AT LAUNCESTON. (Australia ft Press Association.) SYDNEY, December 27. At Launceston, Rosi© Jones, aged 26, married, was stabbed to death. An eye witness stated that a man chas t d Her along th e street, inflicting two knife wouiip s in the back. The woman then fell to the ground, and the man turned her over on her back, and istabbed her four times near the heart. Th e attacker thi_.ii walked away, handling a blood-stained knife. The eye witness r an for the police. When he returned he found a knife in the woman’s heart.
Later, Reginald Waters, aged 27, was arrested and charged with murder.
