ANGLO-PERSIAN OIL DISPUTE.

CALCUTTA, December 21
Official circles in Delhi, state that the Anglo-Persian oil dispute has taken a turn for the better, there being reason to hope that it will be settled amicably, without the intervention of tl 10 League of Nations. The tone of tlie diplomatic exchanges it is stated, lias returned to a normal, friendly character, and the anti-British demonstrations in Teheran have ceased.
