ECONOMISTS SURVEY
TO REPORT IX JANUARY
WELLINGTON, December 21
The economists, Dr Might, Dr Belsdiaw and Professor Tpcker, have left Wellington, having eompleted as far as possible in the timo at their disposal a tentative survey of the economic and financial position. It is understood that they intend to review their conclusions during the holidays and submit a report to the Prime Minister in the first week in January covering the basic footers of the situation n.s they pee it. Their commission is not necessarily ended as the Government may require the economic survey to be continued for Cabinet’s guidance if there are any substantial changes in price conditions.
