PLANE CRASHES ON HOUSE
EXPLOSION INJURES NINETEEN

PARIS, December 20
A military plane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb. The pilot wa s killed .instantly. The inhabitants rushed into the street, policemen and "volunteers, using ladders, attempted to l'eudi the wreckage, whilst a septuagenarian woman resident returned to fetch her savings, when a violent explosion occurred, owing to the petrol reaching a stove through a chimney. The explosion killed the woman, and injured nineteen other persons.
