As the result of advice received from Mr Schmitt, the New Zealand Trade Commissioner at Sydney, the Government warns people intending to migrate to Australia in the hope of obtaining employment to make \provision for their return passage in the event of their not obtaining employment. • Mr Schmitt says that the number of stranded New Zealanders asking assistance from him is greater than ever.
