ASSASSINATION CONTEMPLATED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) AMSTERDAM, December 13. A well-dressed, hut unknown German, armed with a revolver and a bowie knife, was discovered in the cellar of the ex-Kaiser’s residence. It is believed that he intended assassination. He was overpowered after a vigorous resistance. He ‘refuses to make a statementPOLICE ARE RETICENT. (Received 11.40 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, December 13. The police are 'reticent regarding the Doom intruder, whom the servants recognised as a man seen loitering in the village during the past few days. Fo apparently climbed the castle walls and hid in the tower.
