STOWAWAY IN BERTRAM'S PLANE

SOURABAYA, December 12
Bertram had a fine trip. He started from Bima at 2.30 in the afternoon and landed at Sourabaya at 6.30. After leaving Bima, the mechanic ■Allen, detected a 'stowaway who was immediately arrested on arrival at ■Sourabaya. Bertram stated that th e flight hitherto had been hampered only by strong head winds. He intends leaving at sunrise and hopes to reach Medan in one hop.
