CONTEST IN NEW ZEALAND
‘ One of the most important efforts undertaken in New Zealand to discover screen talent will be made short-Sy when the combined efforts of <J. C. Williamson Picture Corpurat.on, Limited Paramount Pictures and Messis Cadbury Fry Hudson will be devotea to a. campaign throughout New Zealand in search of people with definite screen possibilities. Studios the world over are searching for new types and fresh faces and the idea behind this campaign is that New .Zealanders will now be given an opportunity to compete for honours on the screen. Full details in connection with it will he advertised, shortly.
It will be by no means a beauty contest, but it will be an endeavour to find* definite screen “types.”’ People of all ages will, tberefoi.c, have an op portunity of testing their scieen p-• sibilities.
