INCREASE IN REGISTRATIONS.

RUGBY, December 6. Figures issued by the Minister of Labour reveal thaf; on November 21 there were 52,800 more unemployed on the registers of the British employment exchanges thai\ on October 24. The' fall in employment during the past month is stated to. be due almost entirely to the continuance of a seasonal decline in (building, publicworks, contracting, tailoring and other industries. Employment showed a slight improvement-, in the iron and steel, motor vehicle and cotton industries, and textile bleaching and finishing. • •: .... *
