I Mr Parry, counsel for Tarrant, is proceeding to Picton to-night in con-, netcion with lhe proceedings which has been instituted on behalf of Tarrant, who was found guilty of the murder of .Mr Flood. Applications are to be made by Mr Parry to Judge Blair for leave to apply to the Court of Appeal for a ‘new trial, and for the Judge to reserve questions ol law for the consideration of the Court cf Appeal.
