HAMILTON, December 6. In a Supreme Court case at Hamilton in which Erie George Hood, nightwatchman of Horotuf; sought £3436 damages from the Waikato Hospital ■Board" for alleged negligence, the plaintiff was non-suited.
A ’similar claim made by the plaintiff against Dr. Stewart W. Crawford of Eltham. former Surgeon at the Wai kato Hospital, concluded to-day, the jury finding for the defendant. The claim was based en the allegation that a tube was left in the plaintiff’s chest while, he wa. s being treated for eopyema, a lung infection, at Waikato Hospital in 1926. Th e tube was discovered by the X-Ray, and wa s removed early last year.
