STOLEN TREASURE RECOVERED

BRUSSELS, December 6.
The Treves police had been baffled by the theft of several million marks’ worth of art treasures from the Sakingen Cathedral until they saw a woman with a dress made from altar vestments.
A constable, attired in a woman’s dress, deceived a male suspect, and gained enrance to a flat in Brussels, where there were found the whole of the stolen treasure. In addition there was found a plant for coining five mark pieces, for which the Church silver was utilised.
The police have now captured a whole gang who are suspected’ of a series of robberies from the German museums.
